Major Depressive Disorder

Post-Partum Depression
A mood disorder that affects new mothers after childbirth, characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, and despair. . It typically develops within the first few weeks to months after giving birth but can occur anytime during the first year postpartum.
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)
A severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), characterized by significant mood disturbances and physical symptoms that occur in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle and remit soon after the onset of menstruation.
