Dianne Mbai, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner was born and raised in Sub-Saharan Africa. Growing up, she saw first-hand the devastating effects untreated mental illness has on the individual, their family and friends as a whole. She started her career in Nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma where she obtained her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing in 2007. She worked primarily in the Intensive Care Unit and later in the ER before graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2013.

We currently see patients ages 10 – 60. For older clients, we recommend following up with a Geriatric Psychiatric Provider.
We treat various conditions such as Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Please refer to our Services Page.
We currently do not treat Dementia and Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Please call us if you need help finding a provider who manages these conditions.
We currently do not prescribe stimulants such as Vyvanse, Ritalin, or Adderall etc.There are other medications and behavioral interventions that are helpful in improving focus and concentration, and increasing productivity. Call us for a consultation.
We are currently in network and accepting clients with Aetna, Blue Cross & Blue Shield and Cigna Insurances. We also accept Cash or Self Pay for those without behavioral health coverage on their policies, are un-insured, or out of network.
If within office business hours, please call us. If experiencing any medical emergency, suicidal or homicidal thoughts outside of our office hours please call 911, or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Please check with your pharmacy first to see if they have a refill on file for you. If not, send a request through the client portal, or call the office. This applies to established patients only. If you are not an active patient with us, you can contact us to establish care.
While medications in this category (Benzodiazepines such as clonazepam, Valium, Xanax etc.) have their place in the treatment of anxiety, they can be habit forming. They also have adverse effects such as affecting one’s memory. We prefer to prescribe medications that are safer to use long term, and safer to wean off when you, or your loved one gets better.
